Just Sports for Women Brings Winter Olympics News to the Web

Posted on February 9, 1998

Just Sports for Women, a website devoted exclusively to women's sports, is now offering free up-to-the-minute women's sports news on the Internet.

The enhanced news service begins this week with extensive results, stats, previews and analysis of the women's events at the Winter Olympics, in Nagano, Japan. In addition to the previously established women's Winter Olympic sports -- skiing, skating, luge and biathlon -- the '98 Winter Olympics will mark the debut of three new medal sports for women -- ice hockey, snowboarding and curling.

In the coming weeks, Just Sports for Women will add more "Sports Wire" news sections covering women's college and professional basketball, tennis, golf, soccer and track & field. Just Sports for Women is a production of Guts Inc., the privately-held Internet content company started in 1996 by photographer and multimedia producer Daniel Kron.
