JP Kids, Inc., an independent kids' media company, has purchased react.com, an online destination for teens, from Parade Publications.

In addition, this acquisition is consistent with our convergence strategy to develop properties online, on TV and across multiple media platforms.''

JP Kids developed the Disney Channel original series The Famous Jett Jackson. JP Kids and Yahoo! are jointly developing Yahooligans! as a multiple media franchise for television, film, books and the internet. JP Kids' international television partners include, among others, Millimages (France), RTV Family Entertainment (Germany), and Alliance Atlantis (Canada). The company is headquartered in San Francisco, with production/sales offices in New York and Los Angeles.
