Contests

The Final Draft/Express.com "Big Break" Screenwriting Competition is offering a prize of $10,000 and a trip to Hollywood. Other prizes include cash, software, and a chance to have your script represented by a Hollywood literary agent. The entry fee is $45 from March 15 through June 30; and $55 from July 1 through Sept. 30.

Zoetrope: All-Story is running a short fiction contest. Prizes include a 1st Prize of $1000, a second prize of $500 and a 3rd Prize of $250. All entries must be typed, 5000 words or less and be postmarked by October 1, 2000. There is a ten dollar entry fee.
