Jim Henson Company Launches BRATS of the Lost Nebula Website

The Jim Henson Company Wednesday announced the launch of a "telefusion" website to accompany BRATS of the Lost Nebula, a new action-adventure sci-fi series from Jim Henson Television and Decode Entertainment in association with Wandering Monkey Entertainment. The site debuted simultaneously on the Internet as BRATS of the Lost Nebula premiered on Kids' WB! on Saturday, Oct. 10, at 10 a.m. ET. (9 a.m. PT). The announcement was made by Craig Allen, general manager, Jim Henson Interactive.
According to Allen, the site provides "telefusion," the merging of two distinct entertainment forms, television and new media, to provide an enhanced and unified interactive experience. "bratsofthelostnebula.com will provide 13 weeks of Website programming tied to each specific episode," said Allen. "Instead of a traditional, static Web site, visitors will be immersed in the world of the `Brats' and will be able to participate in their universe in a way that extends the mythology of the show."
BRATS of the Lost Nebula is a new sci-fi adventure series from Jim Henson Television that combines "got-to-see-it-to-believe-it" puppetry and computer-generated imagery in a way never before done for television. The adventures begin when five kids from war-torn planets, each searching for their families, are thrown together and forced to survive by their wits in a universe under attack.
