Amulet Books, an imprint of Abrams Books, has announced that a Jabba Hutt entry in Tom Angleberger's bestselling Origami Yoda series is coming in August. This is the fourth book in the series. The Surprise Attack of Jabba the Puppett has a national one-day laydown date of August 6, 2013. It will have a first printing of 500,000 copies.

McQuarrie Middle School falls into darkness when the principal cancels art, music, and Lego classes. The principal wants to make time for a new test prep program called the FunTime Menace. The students form a Rebel Alliance with the help of Origami Yoda. Yoda and the students find they not only have to defeat the FunTime Menace but also fend off a surprise attack from Jabba the Puppett.

Tom Angleberger said in a statement, "We have a very surprising cover star this time," says bestselling author Tom Angleberger. "Jabba the Hutt wasn't the feature character I was expecting. But I think once fans read the book, they will agree that it's hard to say no to him!"
