Imagine Publishing Appoints Two New Publishers
Posted on November 3, 1997
Imagine Publishing, announced the promotion of Stephanie Dale and Caroline Simpson-Bint. Dale, former publisher of The Net magazine, has moved to the role of publisher for the award-winning MacAddict magazine. Simpson-Bint, former associate publisher of PC Gamer and boot magazine, takes on the position of publisher for boot. This movement is a reflection of the company's ongoing growth and success in the computer enthusiast arena.
Before joining Imagine Publishing, Dale held numerous sales management sites, including Dr. Dobbs Journal, Unix Review, AIXtra and ComputerLand Magazine. Most recently, Dale helped successfully launch Web Techniques, where she held the position of Director of Sales. In conjunction with managing the sales force of Web Techniques, she directed online advertising sales for the September 1996 relaunch of Web Review, one of the first eZines on the Internet.
Simpson-Bint has worked her way up the Imagine ladder. Before being promoted to publisher of boot, she was the associate publisher of boot and of America's best-selling PC game magazine, PC Gamer. Setting up the sales force for PC Gamer as its sales manager, Simpson-Bint is very familiar with the boot audience. Before coming to America, she worked in various sales management positions for Future Publishing.
