GSociety, an entertainment network of companies targeting gay and lesbian consumers, has announced the acquisition of QTMagazine, an online gay and lesbian travel magazine. Some of GSociety's websites include GayWired.com and LesbiaNation.com.

``It's a perfect marriage for us. With the strength and success of GSociety's other Internet portals and their emphasis on ecommerce, this merger will take QTMagazine.com to new heights,'' said Serge Gojkovich, publisher. ``The gay and lesbian travel market is huge, about 47.3 billion, and no one is better positioned to offer travel resources to this market than GSociety.''

``We are ecstatic about adding this high-quality product to our established list of companies,'' said Paul Yates, chief executive officer of GSociety. ``GSociety's companies have established themselves deeply within the gay and lesbian market and our interactivity and cutting-edge features make us the perfect site for the community as well as advertisers who want to reach this lucrative market.''
