Posted on October 28, 1998

GreenTree Nutrition, Inc., an online wellness center and superstore, has unveiled its new website at Intel Corporation's Internet Health Day. GreenTree addresses the needs of health-conscious Americans with a site that delivers health resources by combining objective content, online community, and discounted vitamins and nutritional supplements.

"Some websites offer traditional medical advice, some present information on alternative health, and others offer products," states Don Kendall, CEO and co-founder of GreenTree. "GreenTree pulls all of these offerings together in one convenient location so customers can investigate the latest health news, get personalized recommendations, purchase discounted wellness products and interact with others who share their health interests, all in one seamless experience."

The GreenTree editorial team updates the site's content daily, working with partners such as The New York Times Syndicate and the GreenTree Advisory Board. This Board helps oversee the editorial and policy decisions for the website. The Board members include the president of the American Dietetic Association, the former dean of the School of Public Health at the University of Michigan, the managing editor of the University of California, Berkeley Wellness Letter, and a leading group of registered dietitians and medical professionals from Harvard, Stanford and Johns Hopkins universities.

"GreenTree is the ideal resource for people interested in taking charge of their health and nutrition," states Ann Coulston, president of the American Dietetic Association and member of the GreenTree Advisory Board. "I am excited to be working with a leading wellness site that gives people the objective and comprehensive information they need to make informed decisions about their health."
