Multiple sclerosis, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, arthritis pain, tension headaches, poor circulation; no matter what the malady is, anyone can benefit from a new form of exercise that is convenient and easy on the body. It is Gentle Fitness, a self-help video and television program for people to use at home or with groups.

"Everyone feels better after doing simple exercises and stretches," said Catherine MacRae, founder of Gentle Fitness. "At some time or other, all people suffer pain, stiffness, or cramps. And, problems get worse from sitting too much, getting hurt or having a serious illness."

MacRae developed Gentle Fitness with a team of 11 medical and chiropractic doctors; rehab therapists and wellness professionals. "Gentle Fitness is for folks coping with health problems," said MacRae. "From cardiovascular problems to diabetes to arthritis pain to breathing difficulties, it provides valuable assistance and hope."

The award winning program is featured on the above web site. "Welcome to Gentle Fitness", a self-help home video program has received two of the industry's most prestigious accolades. It is the Winner of the American Medical Association's International Health & Medical Film Competition; and the National Health Information Award. It is referred by staff at Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins and other prestigious health care professionals. It is viewed on cable television on 149 stations in 34 states and public television will soon carry the program.
