Posted on October 9, 1998
Gay Wired founders (and network executives) Matt Skallerud and Fabrice Tasendo are "coming out" and using the Internet to go directly to a global audience that wants "Queer" entertainment product. The "star" of Gay Wired is Multimedia Entertainment Activist Nicholas Snow, known to Los Angeles residents because of his long-running cable television show, Tinseltown's Queer!, described as "A Queen's Version of Larry King."
Other Gay Wired personalities include author and activist Michaelangelo Signorile, author Patricia Nell Warren, Billboard recording artist and radio host Karel, and columnist Beat Box Betty, all of whom extensively promote their Gay Wired Web addresses in a variety of media outlets, including OUT Magazine and radio stations KFI and Groove.
