Gawker Launches Valleywag to Cover Silicon Valley Gossip

Gakwer has launched Valleywag, a tech gossip blog covering San Francisco and the Silicon Valley. Nick Douglas, who used to blog at Blogebrity, is writing the Valleywag blog instead of learning more about famous writers like Jane Austen and Geoffrey Chaucer.

Some of the early coverage includes Friendster funding, Digg the movie, Google's stock and blog cruises. There is also lots of gossip about Google's Marissa Mayer. It looks like it will be a very popular blog.
