Gaddafi Turns Into Sand on Time Magazine Cover

Posted on August 30, 2011

Artist Tim O'Brien created an amazing sketch of Gaddafi disappearing for the upcoming cover of Time magazine. Gaddafi's head slowly becomes sand on the cover.

This is a much better idea than just putting X over the former leader's face. The former dictator of Libya is not dead, but his control over the country has ended. The headline on the magazine cover says, "The World After Gaddafi." The issue includes articles by Fareed Zakaria and Bobby Ghosh.
