Fleet Financial Group Introduces Website for Kids

Posted on October 19, 1998

Fleet Financial Group announced the launch of an educational website, fleetkids.com, for children grades K-6. Designed with the help of Headbone Interactive, a leading creator of online children's programming, the site serves as a learning tool that will help teach children about the value of money, good citizenship and teamwork through a series of interactive games. The site encourages learning through inquiry and challenges children to investigate an array of mathematic, financial and social concepts, including: setting goals, saving and budgeting, balancing "needs" with "wants", working in teams, and developing solutions.

"FleetKids combines our commitment to programs that enhance our communities and schools, with our commitment to providing innovative technology solutions." said Blaise Heltai, Director of Fleet's Online Financial Services. "This is an engaging way for kids to learn on the Internet about good financial management and the benefits of teamwork in a safe and fun environment."
