Fetch Targets Bay Area Dog Owners

Posted on June 21, 2005

Fetch is a new Bay Area publication for dog owners. June's premiere edition features a profile of three artists who have found inspiration from their furry companions along with a provocative interview with pet psychic and author, Marta Williams. Additional pet experts serve as regular columnists for the paper which is also being distributed via veterinary offices, pet supply, and recreational retailers at 150 distribution points thus far. Fetch is the pet project of Editor/Publisher, Sandy Lurins, herself a doting pet "mama." Under her guidance, the paper will highlight pet-friendly regional travel destinations in the San Francisco Bay area and neighboring Napa/Sonoma wine country along with a comprehensive look at all aspects of the "pet lifestyle." The publication will also include reviews of new pet products. Other regular features include "The Scoop" with news, tidbits, and book/media reviews along with cartoons, adoptable pets, pet memorials, and a classified/business directory.
