Executrain Announces Agreement with IDG Books

ExecuTrain Corp. announced it has signed an agreement with IDG Books Worldwide Inc. in which local ExecuTrain offices will offer self-study publications to students as part of an expanded instructor-led training curriculum.
"By partnering with IDG Books Worldwide, we are pleased to extend to our customers value-added materials designed to further enhance their learning experience," said Peter A.S. Pfeiffer, executive vice president of global sales and business development at ExecuTrain Corp. "With this announcement, ExecuTrain now offers the widest range of instruction in the training industry through instructor-led and computer-based training, on-line mentoring and self-study books. Thus, a full array of products and services can now address most any corporate IT learning requirement."
Participating ExecuTrain offices will begin bundling the For Dummies series of technology books as an additional student benefit to its desktop applications instructor-led training experience. The books will supplement classroom instruction for beginning to intermediate users to assist them in utilizing their computers more effectively. In addition, the publications will complement the ExecuTrain courseware as a supplementary reference tool for students following their training course.
Students will also have access to IDG Books Worldwide's most popular technical titles as a value-add for instructor-led technical courses. Clients can receive technical books and certification exam study guides for Microsoft and Novell certifications and products including certification information on Microsoft MCSE, MCSD, Novell CNE and A+ certifications.
