Evan Hansen Named Wired News Editor in Chief

Lycos, Inc. has announced that Wired News has appointed Evan Hansen as the site's new editor in chief. Hansen comes to Wired News from CNET News.com, where he was responsible for overseeing all digital media, internet policy, telecommunications and consumer technology coverage for the site. Additionally, Wired News named Paul Van de Kamp as its new national sales director. Van de Kamp was most recently VP of national sales for LA.com, a Gannet publication. Previously, he was senior director at Overture and western regional manager at ESPN.com.
