Eoin Colfer Writes New Book in Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy Series

Thirty years after the publication of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by the late Douglas Adams, there is a new book in the series. Bestselling author Eoin Colfer (Artemis Fowl) has picked up Douglas' mantle and written a sixth book called And Another Thing. We were not expecting another entry after Mostly Harmless. We'll try not to panic.

Publisher Hyperion says Colfer has been a fan of the series since his schooldays. He says, "Being given the chance to write this book is like suddenly being offered the superpower of your choice. For years I have been finishing this incredible story in my head and now I have the opportunity to do it in the real world."
