Deloitte & Touche Launches Business Magazine for Financial Services Executives

Posted on February 17, 1998

Deloitte & Touche LLP has announced the new quarterly magazine Global, an international business magazine for senior executives in the financial services industries. It is being produced by an independent team of top-flight writers, editors and designers.

Global will look at issues from an unbiased, independent perspective, presenting ideas from diverse points of view and representing all major regions of the world. The magazine's independence is highlighted in a statement on its masthead that its views and opinions "do not represent those of Deloitte & Touche, but are the views and opinions of the authors and editors."

"We want to appeal to senior executives and give them ideas that they might not find elsewhere," said David Crutcher, Tri-State Region director of Business Development and Marketing, Deloitte & Touche. "A regular technology feature, for example, will profile advances that have personal impact on executives. In the first issue, this section deals with new speech recognition software."

Global's initial circulation will be 25,000 to be mailed directly to individual executives in various financial services industries (Securities, Insurance, Depository Institutions, Finance Companies and Investment Management) and distributed through Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu offices worldwide.
