Debut of New Online Magazine for Java Servlet Developers

Posted on August 13, 1998

Java developers looking for the latest information on servlets have a new source with the launch of Servlet Central, the Server-Side Java Magazine.

Servlet Central is an online publication dedicated to providing highly focused information on server-side Java. Each issue contains articles and columns written by people using servlets, Enterprise JavaBeans, object request brokers, and other server-side Java technologies to build next generation applications, Intranets, and websites.

"Mike Hogarth and I started Servlet Central because we saw a need for comprehensive, high-quality information about servlets. There are a lot of developers doing neat stuff with servlets. The magazine gives these developers a place to showcase their achievements. It's also a great place for businesses to find innovative web solutions," says Clint Dalton, co-editor of Servlet Central.

Servlet Central is published by Servlet Central Publishing, a division of Electronaut Software Corporation. Electronaut provides next generation hosting services, such as servlet support, for technology focused firms. With the introduction of Servlet Central, Electronaut continues to expand its role as a leader in server-side Java technology.
