Dallas Morning News Unveils New Football Site

The Dallas Morning News has launched a site on the World Wide Web to provide access to the most comprehensive football coverage available in Texas and the Southwest.
That web site - In Your Face Football - can be reached through The Morning News' website, and features extensive coverage of Texas high schools, the Big 12 Conference, Texas colleges, the Dallas Cowboys and the National Football League.
In addition, all the stories and columns from The Dallas Morning News' award-winning Sports Day staff are accessible on-line, as is a scoreboard which will be updated as games are being played.
Visitors to this web site are also able to obtain statistics, rosters, previews and depth charts, information on individual stadiums and go to NFL team "home pages." Photo slide shows of key plays from high school, college, Dallas Cowboys and other NFL teams are available on-line, and the website is "interactive," allowing individuals to visit discussion rooms to talk about their favorite teams, to participate in a "pick the winners" game against other on-line players, to select specific players for a "fantasy" football team and then coach that team in games against others and to subscribe to a messenger service that delivers lists of stories on specific teams to personal e-mail addresses.
