CurtCo Freedom Group announced the October 1998 launch of a new publication, Knowledge Management magazine. The magazine's mission is to become the leading business and technology solutions publication. Targeted at senior executives, Knowledge Management magazine aims to be the definitive guide for organizations to leverage information and intellectual capital assets for competitive advantage.

During Ruby's 15 years in computer journalism, he has also held key editorial positions at PC Week, InfoWorld, and Popular Science.

Mike Klein, publisher of Knowledge Management magazine, brings than 20 years of experience in high-technology publishing sales management. He garnered twelve years of experience at SoftBank/Ziff-Davis Publishing, where he held sales and managerial positions at PC Magazine, PC Week, and Computer Shopper. Most recently Klein served as director of national accounts for Information Week.

The magazine offers case studies, implementation articles, lab reports, and features. In addition, each issue includes interviews, news briefings, and research findings related to the products, technologies, and services for putting knowledge management into practice.
