Creative Planet, an online resource for creative professionals, has announced the acquisition of online literary marketplace GoodStory from kpe, a creator of digital media and entertainment businesses. Allen DeBevoise, president and CEO of Creative Planet made the announcement.

GoodStory facilitates interaction between writers, agents and buyers in the entertainment and publishing communities. GoodStory was financed, developed, designed and produced by kpe under the direction of GoodStory.com's President, Anthony Jacobson, a former member of the William Morris Agency's motion picture department.

``With GoodStory, Creative Planet provides the principal forum for interaction between writers, agents and buyers,'' said DeBevoise. ``Writers and their representatives are able to promote their work in a centralized online marketplace while retaining complete control over the viewing and distribution of their material, while buyers and agents are able to find written material using multiple search criteria.''

``We're delighted that GoodStory is joining forces with Creative Planet, and recognize the added value this complimentary relationship creates for the creative professionals who use both sites,'' said GoodStory president Anthony Jacobson.
