Council on Family Health Launches Comprehensive Online Resource for Consumers and Media

Posted on February 9, 1998

The Council on Family Health today announced the launch of its website. The new site includes information on Council's services, educational campaigns and materials, and addresses the safe and proper use of medicines including topics such as reading the medicine label, children’s medicine dosing, drug interactions and several others.

"We have designed the site to provide consumers and the media with detailed information regarding medicine use and safety. With more and more medicines available, it’s important to know how to administer them to your children as well as yourself," said William Bergman, President of Council on Family Health. "The site provides that important information and offers additional resources."

The Council on Family Health is a non-profit organization established more than 30 years ago, dedicated to educating consumers about the proper use of nonprescription and prescription medicines, home safety and personal health.
