CONK!, the daily humor/entertainment network and online community at http://conk.com, this week posted the 300th edition of its award-winning daily humor magazine.

"Frankly, it's very gratifying that we've not only managed to survive but even prosper over the last fifteen months, having witnessed many much-better-financed competitors fold all around us," said CONK!'s Editor and Executive Producer, James Touchi-Peters. For the month of December CONK! showed 1.5 million pages to 120,000 visitors, putting it in the same league with such Web stalwarts as Salon and Slate.

Touchi-Peters said he thought one of the keys to CONK!'s success was its abundant and ever-changing content. "We were one of the pioneers of daily-changing content on the Web," he said. "We came to the conclusion very early that, even though it's enormously labor-intensive, producing original content was the only way we could truly stand out."
