Chubb Puts its Electronics Industry Publication Online

Posted on August 25, 1997

Chubb & Son Inc. has launched a Cyberspace edition of The Chubb Electronics Report. The newsletter helps risk managers, financial executives and insurance agents and brokers serving the high-tech industry identify and control a variety of business and risk management vulnerabilities.

Thomas Cornwell, vice president of Chubb & Son Inc., says in a statement, "While we will continue to distribute a printed version of The Chubb Electronics Report, it may be easier for many high-tech readers to access the publication on-line. At the same time, we expect the on- line version to broaden the publication's readership beyond the thousands who already view it as a key business management tool."

In recognition of the debut of its digital version, the newsletter's current issue is dedicated to Internet and Intranet risk subjects. The Chubb Electronics Report has been in existence for nearly a decade. It currently is published by the company's Technology Insurance Group, which provides the electronics, information technologies, telecommunications, biotechnology and medical device industries with insurance and risk management products and services.
