Cheezburger Network Acquires Know Your Meme

The Cheezburger, Inc. network continues to grow. Tubefilter.tv reports that Cheezburger has acquired Know Your Meme for a low seven-figure sum. Know Your Meme was spun-off from Rocketboom. The site includes a collection of reports and facts about the latest members, such as the recent Rebecca Black Friday meme. Internet memes have gotten bigger as well - the Rebecca Black meme is proof of that with the artist behind the laughed at song reach as high as 19< on iTunes and appearing on the Tonight Show.

As for the Cheezburger network, they will add Know Your Meme to blogs including The Daily Wh.at, Fail Blog and Memebase.com. The memes should be in good hands at a network running blogs like those.
