Capstone Studio Launches John Glenn Website

Capstone Studio, a strategic marketing and design firm, has launched a website commemorating John Glenn and Friendship Seven. The site, entitled, "John Glenn: Three Orbits to History," provides in-depth information about Glenn, the Mercury space program, and NASA.

It is a tribute to the legendary astronaut, John Glenn. Glenn was the first American to orbit the earth, and will also be the oldest man to go into space. Thirty-six years after his first trip, Glenn will return to space in October 1998 as part of STS-95. His landmark journey is part of a research program to study the effects of space travel on age.

"Glenn's return to space is a breakthrough for the space program. We wanted to honor a pioneer of flight and celebrate his ongoing accomplishments through the way we know best," said Thomas Van Hare, president and creative director at Capstone Studio.
