Bulletin Broadfaxing Network Changes Name to Bulletin News Network

Posted on January 23, 1998

The Bulletin Broadfaxing Network is no more. Begun in 1990 as the corporation that would publish The White House Bulletin, time and technology have taken their toll on the corporation's name, but not on its operations. The former Bulletin Broadfaxing Network is now the Bulletin News Network.

When The White House Bulletin first began publishing, the computer fax card was a high-tech innovation. As the first political publication faxed automatically and simultaneously (i.e., broadfaxing) at lunchtime to all of its subscribers, The White House Bulletin paved the way for a whole new approach to political news reporting. The company's name incorporated the new technology.

However, to stay ahead of the technological developments since 1990, the company has supplemented computer faxing with Internet delivery, and is developing additional electronic distribution platforms. Hence, the name of the corporation has been changed to the Bulletin News Network, Inc. (BNN), a name which reflects not only its ability to keep pace with the latest in information delivery technology, but also reflects the company's growth. In addition to The White House Bulletin, BNN also publishes The Bulletin's Morning Digest -- an early morning snapshot on the major news of the day -- and The Bulletin's Frontrunner -- the most comprehensive political news publication on the market today. All three publications are now available on the Internet as well as by fax. The Morning Digest is generally posted around 8:00 a.m.; the Frontrunner is posted shortly after 9:00 a.m.; The White House Bulletin is posted around noon.

With plans for more publications and other information services to come, the Bulletin News Network believes the new name better captures the core of its business -- fast electronic delivery of the latest and most insightful political and policy news available today.
