BSI Inc., the North American division of BSI, the world's leading registrar of quality management systems, Wednesday announced the Jan. 15, 1999 launch of its North American edition of Business Standards magazine.
The bi-monthly publication will cover all of the business aspects of international standards, including financial, safety, strategy, time, structure, and benefits of using standards to become more competitive, improve quality, and increase profits.
"The goal of this publication is to help companies and organizations learn about emerging and existing standards, such as ISO 9000 and ISO 14000, and how to use them to help build a better, more competitive business," said Jeff Henriksen, publisher of the North American edition of Business Standards.
Business Standards is targeted to 55,000 quality and environmental managers, regulatory affairs professionals, project managers, and executives and CEOs interested in implementing standards use within their company or organization. As the Managing Editor for Business Standards, Pam Parry will assist Henriksen with the development of the publication's editorial content. Parry honed her knowledge of ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 as the Editor of International Environmental Systems Update, a CEEM Inc. publication.
