Big Entertainment Signs Agreement With Pressman Film

Big Entertainment, Inc. announced that it has signed an agreement with The Edward R. Pressman Film Corporation to produce a feature film and/or television series based on Mickey Spillane's Mike Danger.
Pressman Film is one of Hollywood's leading independent production companies. Formed in 1984 by Edward R. Pressman for the purpose of producing and distributing theatrical motion pictures, the company has achieved both commercial success and critical acclaim by producing such films as Oliver Stone's Academy Award-winning Wall Street, Terrence Malick's Badlands, John Milius' Conan the Barbarian, and Barbet Schroeder's Reversal of Fortune. The company's 1994 release of The Crow had worldwide box office exceeding $105 million. The company's release of Streetfighter achieved worldwide box office of more than $100 million and was ranked among the top 40 in foreign box office for 1995.
Big Entertainment is an entertainment company whose revenues are generated from two primary sources: ownership and licensing of celebrity-branded intellectual properties and operation of entertainment retail outlets.
