Atlanta Magazine Posts Increase in Circulation

Posted on September 21, 1998

Atlanta Magazine posted a significant increase in circulation. The Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC), June 1998, reports circulation at 65,915, compared with 61,056 in June, 1997. Atlanta Magazine publisher Susie Love, who was sent to head the magazine by owner Emmis Communications in June 1997, credits the increases to sales staff and design changes.

"With the addition of an expert sales staff, marketing team and our new look, Atlanta Magazine is positioned for a very bright future," says Ms. Love.

Atlanta Magazine has also secured formal partnerships with 11Alive's Peachtree Morning TV show and WGKA AM radio to cross-promote each month, as well as partner on promotions and events. The magazine, last week, was awarded the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Press Award for its contributions to the design community.
