Alabama Live to Distribute Content Through MindSpring Enterprises

Alabama Live announced that it has reached agreement with MindSpring Enterprises, a national Internet Service Provider based in Atlanta, Georgia to provide quick, easy access to local Alabama content. Users of MindSpring's Internet service can access "Alabama City Pages," which now features links to Alabama Live information in the "News," "Sports," and "Weather" categories. Alabama Live obtains local news and information from its three newspaper affiliates in the state including The Birmingham News, The Huntsville Times, and Mobile Register.

"We are happy to feature our content through such a high caliber Internet service provider as MindSpring. We look forward to working with MindSpring to continually improve the user experience," said Cindy Martin, President/CEO of Alabama Live.

Alabama Live, based in Huntsville, Alabama, is an affiliate of Advance Internet Inc., a subsidiary of Advance Publications, owner of The Birmingham News, The Huntsville Times, and the Mobile Register and daily newspapers in 19 other cities as well as Conde Nast magazines; CondeNet, producer of the online services Epicurious and Swoon; Random House; and Parade and react.
