Advanstar Digital Media Group Announces New Publisher and Digital Studio Magazine
Posted on February 9, 1998
Responding to the dramatic changes in the growing digital content creation market, Advanstar's Digital Media Group is changing the name of NT Studio to Digital Studio Magazine. To help lead Digital Studio into the future, Lou Wallace, founder of DV Magazine and Digital Magic joins as publisher of both Digital Studio and PC Graphics & Video.
Just as NT Studio's editorial featured professional digital content production on the Windows NT platform, Digital Studio will concentrate on the professional digital production market, expanding the editorial to cover cross-platform integration and workflow issues. The name change is effective with the March issue.
Lou Wallace brings 12 years of industry experience to PC Graphics & Video and Digital Studio. Wallace's experience and leadership in both the digital technology and publishing industries will help both publications better serve the needs of the readers and advertisers. As founder and editor of DV and Digital Magic magazines, Wallace has worked with IDG, Miller Freeman and Pennwell publishing companies.
Advanstar Digital Media Group publishes PC Graphics & Video, Digital Studio, and NewTekniques magazines and produces the DCC Expo & Conference, to be held Dec. 2-4, 1998 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
