2009 Man Booker Prize Shortlist Announced

The Man Booker Prize for Fiction 2009 shortlist has been announced. Here are the six finalists.

The Children's Book by AS Byatt
Summertime by JM Coetzee
The Quickening Maze by Adam Foulds
Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel
The Glass Room by Simon Mawer
The Little Stranger by Sarah Waters

The winner of the Man Booker Prize will be announced on October 6th, 2009. The Guardian writers that JM Coetzee could become the first author to win a hat-trick of Man Booker prizes.
