Thomas M. Kuczynski Named Publishing Director of Internet World

Penton Media, Inc. has announced that Thomas M. Kuczynski has joined the company as Publishing Director of the company's Internet World print publication. Internet World is a leading publication serving Internet professionals. Published weekly, it has a BPA-audited circulation of 125,000, and provides strategy, E-business, technical implementation, Web programming, and design information and industry news. The publication was acquired by Penton Media from Mecklermedia Corporation in November 1998.

Kuczynski joins Penton from Miller Freeman, Inc., where he most recently was Publishing Director of the company's Digital Media Group, based in San Francisco. He also had held the position of Director of Electronic Publishing during his tenure at Miller Freeman.

Between 1989 and 1993, Kuczynski was a senior consultant for Ladd Associates in New York and San Francisco, where he advised senior management of both trade and consumer magazine publishers in areas including mergers and acquisitions and business plan development. He also spent three years with Andersen Consulting in San Francisco, doing work primarily in manufacturing improvement and systems development.
