Penton Media Launches Internet World Magazine in the UK & Ireland

Penton Media, Inc. has announced the launch of the UK edition of Internet World magazine. Hillgate Communications, Ltd will publish the monthly title starting December 1999 under license.
Publishing Director Tom Kuczynski emphasized the importance of the UK Internet market. "The UK is an exciting market. We now are seeing the next phase of the Internet in the UK - the point where the Internet is regarded as being a fundamental part of a company's business strategy. As a result this is the ideal time to extend Internet World magazine into the UK and Hillgate Communications has the publishing expertise and capabilities to produce the leading title in the market."
Internet World U.K. will be published monthly with a targeted circulation in of over 25,000. The editorial team will be lead by Fiona Harvey, the former editor of PC Week-U.K.
