"National Lampoon Network's first slate of programming shows the company's potential to produce and deliver the kind of cutting-edge entertainment that 18-to-24-year-olds are tuning into today," said Doug Bennett, National Lampoon Executive Vice President. "For 30 years, National Lampoon has been an institution in college life and now our TV network is going to carry on that tradition."

In 2002, National Lampoon acquired the assets of Burly Bear Network, one of the two major on-campus college television networks. The purchase included the television network, which is distributed exclusively to colleges and universities, as well as a library of college programming targeted directly at the 18-to-24-year-old demographic.
