Wrangling With Writing

SSA's 26th annual writer’s conference, Wrangling With Writing, will be held at InnSuites Hotel in Tucson, Arizona. Featured speakers will be best-selling mystery and suspense writer Andrew Vachss, Pulitzer prize-winning poet and author N. Scott Momaday, and Reader's Digest editor Philip B. Osborne. The conference will also include thirty workshops covering all genres of writing for every skill level and prescheduled one-on-one appointments with speakers, soliciting agents and editors, and consultants on everything from research and writing to editing and marketing.

23rd Annual International Conference on Film and Literature

This conference will provide a forum for over three hundred papers presented by scholars from throughout the U.S. and abroad. The theme invites discussion on both the traditional and contemporary concepts of race in film and literature and their effect on literary and cinematic texts, authors, directors, producers, actors, readers and viewers.
