Jaycee Dugar to Publish Memoir in July

Posted on May 11, 2011

Simon & Schuster announced that it will publish Jaycee Dugard's book, A Stolen Life, on July 12, 2011. Dugard, who was kidnapped at the age of 11 by Phillip and Nancy Garrido and held captive for 18 years, during which time she bore him two children, tells the full story of her ordeal in the book. S&S Audio will publish an unabridged audio book, read by Dugard.

A Stolen Life was written by Dugard, 33, herself. It will cover the period from the time of her abduction in 1991 up until the present. Simon & Schuster says Dugard "opens up about what she experienced, including how she feels now since she was found."
