iUniverse To Provide Custom Publishing Services for Wolters Kluwer

Posted on January 22, 2002

iUniverse, a digital publishing services provider, announced that Kluwer Academic Publishers, an academic publisher, will use iUniverse's Publishing Commerce Platform to prepare, manage, distribute and fulfill books with custom-content in either print or ebook formats for clients.

iUniverse has also entered into custom publishing agreements with Hungry Minds and Microsoft Press, within the last year.

"iUniverse's Publishing Commerce Platform serves as a key building block in our strategy to offer customers complete STM titles, or specifically chosen and recombined parts of books, in the format they find most effective," said Jay Lippincott, President and CEO of Kluwer Academic Publishers. "The ability to custom publish on-demand and offer our customers more delivery options gives us more flexibility in meeting their needs."
