HarperCollins Acquires New Book by Mitchell Zuckoff

HarperCollins has acquired world rights for Frozen in Time: The True Story of the Race to Recover Lost Heroes of World War II by Mitchell Zuckoff, the author of Lost in Shangri-La. Zuckoff's new book tells the tale of three U.S. plane crashes in Greenland during WWII.

The book also tells the overlooked story of the US Coast Guard and Greenland during WWII. Zuckoff also tells the modern-day story of an expedition to dig and melt through the Greenland ice cap to recover one of the lost planes and the remains of the three airmen still aboard.
