Hachette to Publish Lady Gaga Book of Photographs

Hachette Book Group's Grand Central Publishing imprint has announced it will publish Lady Gaga, a book of never seen photographs of the music and fashion star taken by photographer Terry Richardson. The book, which will include a foreword written by Lady Gaga, is scheduled to be released on November 22, 2011. Taschen Books will publish a very limited edition of the book in 2012.

The book will showcase over 350 color and black and white photographs. The photos were all taken during a ten month period in which Richardson followed Lady Gaga around. Hachette says Richardson had complete access to Lady Gaga's life, with nothing off limits.

The period Richardson followed Lady Gaga started with Lollapalooza in August 2010 and included the Grammy Awards in February 2011 and the final shows of Lady Gaga's Monster Ball tour. Richardson took a total of 100,000 images of Lady Gaga during the ten month period.

Update: The cover art for the book has been released. It shows the back of Lady Gaga. She is wearing sunglasses and a leather jacket that has "GaGa" on the back. The book is available here on Amazon.com.
