This annual short short fiction contest for Writer's Digest is open to stories of 1,500 words or less. The first place winner receives $3,000 plus publication, plus a trip to the Writer's Digest Annual Conference with a Pitch Slam slot.

Other prizes include $1,500 for second place and $500 for third place. Fourth through tenth place winners get $100 cash and 11th through 25th place get a $50 Writer's Digest gift certificate.

The early-bird deadline is November 16, 2020 and has a $25 entry fee. The final deadline is December 14, 2020 with a $30 entry fee.
