Seymour Hersh Wins Fifth Polk Award

Legendary investigative journalist Seymour Hersh of The New Yorker has won his fifth George Polk Award for his accounts of prisoner abuse in Iraq's Abu Ghraib prison. The award makes Hersh the most-honored individual in the history of the awards. The award comes 35 years after Hersh won the award for his coverage of the My Lai massacre in Vietnam. The awards are presented annually by Long Island University in New York.
