The memoir will cover the tragic shooting in Arizona which killed six people and gravely wounded Congresswoman Giffords. It will also tell the story of their courtship and careers.

The memoir will be edited by at Scribner by Susan Moldow, executive vice president and publisher, and Nan Graham, senior vice president and editor and chief. Jeffrey Zaslow, author and Wall Street Journal columnist, will collaborate with Giffords and Kelly on the book. A portion of the authors' net proceeds will go to charity in Tucson and Arizona.
