Meredith Rollins Named Editor and Chief of Redbook Magazine

Posted on June 9, 2014

Meredith Rollins has been appointed editor and chief of Redbook magazine. She has been executive editor of the Hearst publication since 2010. Rollins replaces Jill Herzig, who was recently named editor in chief of Dr. Oz The Good Life. Rollins and Herzig worked together last year to redesign Redbook to focus on fashion, beauty and style.

David Carey, president of Hearst Magazines, says in a statement, "Meredith brings continuity and experience, making her the perfect choice for this role. I'm excited by her ideas for this brand. She truly embodies the Redbook lifestyle and knows what will resonate with its audience."

Rollins says, "Redbook is the only magazine that's a truly all-access pass to great style. I have loved being part of the Redbook team and helping the brand evolve to where it is today. I look forward to taking on this new role and continuing to inspire, inform and cheer our readers on."
