Judges for 2011 National Book Awards Announced

The judges for the 2011 National Book Awards have been announced. The panel consists of twenty authors. Here are the author judges in each category:
- Fiction Panel: Jerome Charyn, John Crowley, Victor LaValle, Yiyun Li, and Deirdre McNamer (chair)
- Nonfiction Panel: Yunte Huang, Alice Kaplan (chair), Jill Lepore, Barbara Savage, and Rebecca Solnit
- Poetry Panel: Elizabeth Alexander (chair), Thomas Sayers Ellis, Amy Gerstler, Kathleen Graber, and Robert Tejada
- Young People's Literature Panel: Marc Aronson (chair), Ann Brashares, Matt de la Pena, Nikki Grimes, and Will Weaver
