Hyperion Signs Two-Book Deal With Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick

Hyperion will published two nonfiction books by Deval L. Patrick, Governor of Massachusetts. The plans were announced by Ellen Archer, President and Publisher of Hyperion. The first title will be an ebook - with no print book companion - priced at $2.99.

Hyperion says the ebook, Faith in the Dream: A Call to Our Nation's Liberal Majority to Restore American Values, represents a strategic expansion of Governor Patrick's core vision. Patrick's second (currently untitled) work for publication by Hyperion in 2014, will be released simultaneously in both print and ebook formats.

Governor Patrick said in a statement, "I'm excited to collaborate with Ellen Archer and her innovative team. Together, we can expand on a new vision for America, in conversation with concerned voters. I want to hear from the American people about their faith in the American dream and promise."
