Dean Koontz is back with a new suspense novel. The Silent Corner follows FBI agent Jane Hawk who is investigating a series of unexplained suicides. Her investigation stumbles upon a conspiracy and makes her the most-wanted fugitive in America.

Koontz's new novel is already being adapted for a TV series. The Hollywood Reporter reports that Paramount Television and Anonymous Content have optioned the novel. A TV network has not yet been named.

Koontz talks about his new heroine in this video from his YouTube channel. Koontz says Jane is "very clever and she awes me at times." He says Jane is becoming his favorite character of all-time and he has written many characters. The novel is available for pre-order on Amazon.com.
