Conde Nast to Revive M Magazine

Posted on June 2, 2012

Conde Nast's Fairchild Fashion Media is going to revive M Magazine, a men's magazine that ceased publishing in the 1990s. Fairchild CEO Gina Sanders told the New York Post that the magazine is being revived because the "men's market is hot."

M Magazine will return as a quarterly publication starting September 2012. Peter Kaplan will head the relaunched men's magazine. The Post says M will have a circulation around 100,000. Min Online reports slightly lower figures - a circulation of 75,000 with an average income of $200,000 or higher.

The New York Post says Kaplan is putting together a staff of about 25 people from WWD and Style.com to run the magazine.
